Percussion

Central High Percussion is a comprehensive, year-round program dedicated to developing versatile musicians through marching percussion, concert percussion, solo and ensemble performance, and Central High Indoor Percussion (CHiP). Students build strong fundamentals, musicianship, leadership, and teamwork while proudly representing the Mighty Bobcat Band throughout San Angelo and beyond.

The program’s accomplishments include multiple First Division ratings at the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest, the 2023 TCGC State Championship, state-finals appearances in 2024 and 2025, and performances at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
